No wonder Mike German wants to don the ermine ASAP and get the hell out of there.

Their political prospects are pretty wretched (they are under pressure all over the UK) but they will probably be best served if Jenny Randerson takes over from Lord German.

Kirsty ‘Kleenex’ Williams would be an absolute gift for political opponents of the Lib Dems.
‘Kleenex’ (as she is called) is apparently prone to blubbing in the Chamber when she comes under political pressure. Not the kind of characteristics required for the cut and thrust of modern day politics is it? Jenny is made of much tougher stuff!

Also another reason why ‘Kleenex’ won’t win is that Peter Black is backing her. Now there’s a kiss of ‘political death’ if ever there was one. Peter is wrong on just about everything these days!
