Paul Murphy in Hot Water

The Right Honourable Paul Murphy MP for Torfaen is complaining that the political water is too hot for him in his taxpayer paid residence and he has allegedly claimed expenses to have it seen to.  You know where to put one of Jacqui’s 88p bathplugs.

Here’s another nasty, tasteless  cartoon from the pen of Cambriapolitico’s resident caricaturist Silfanws. From the ‘What a Parcel of Rogues in a Nation’
series.”

Why so much fuss about Paul Murphy & the rest of his Labour hypocritical cronies???……..This is just the tip of the iceberg………what about local authorities???……….you already have a leader of a council in RCT,who all up gets circa £120,000 for his “efforts”………go look at the expenses that go on top of that!!!……………..but of course what is good for the Labour cronies in London is good enough for “The boyo,s” in The Valleys.

The only ones who should be getting rid of useless old boilers is us – the electorate!

  3. Aled Hughes says:

This grotesque Spudface Murphy is typical of the Labour elite in Wales, held in power by poor demented fools who can’t afford heated £X0000 swimming pools, £X,000,000 second and third homes, £6.25 tin-openers and the like – yet they vote time and again for pampered swine like this. Why don’t the people of the Valleys wake up and throw these bastards out? FOR GOD’S SAKE WALES—-WAKE UP!!

This cartoon is also called anti-semitic by some idiot. There has been much debate in this column about who is antisemitic. I am arab man from Yemen so it is against me because of pigs but i do not accept this. I am semitic because an arab and live in Wales but how can this be against me just because I do not eat pig meat. What pig means is greed and taking too much from the system which these arrogant people do.

  5. Castro says:

What gets me is that old Jowls Murphy (£146,000 p/a) was bleating last week about young men in Cwmbran crying in the street during the years of English Tory government.
This from a guy why wants to stop Wales having a proper parliament so that he and his mates can keep milking the system in their beloved London.
I also agree with Paul’s comment about the Valley boyos. They’re essentially the same clan as Baron Kinnocio, Jowls and Don ‘Corleone’ Toughig.
Power corrupts and nothing corrupts like power.
    Ymlaen i’r Weriniaeth!

  6. T ap H says:

The Welsh Affairs Committee are currently functioning rather like the pre-Grattan Irish House of Lords, and Paul Murphy is functioning like the Viceroy. A few months from now, he will be replaced by a Tory, who may not even sit for a Welsh constituency. Our next Viceroy will reconstitute the WAF to reflect his (yes, it probably will be a ‘he’) ideology.

Our Government will still be mostly Labour. At the moment, it looks as if our First Minister will still be a Labour AM. Whatever he (given the dyed-in-the-wool misogyny of Welsh Labour politics, it certainly will be ‘he’) and his colleagues may decide, it will be overriden by the Viceroy. The Viceroy has the last word. That is the principle that Murphy has established.

One of the reasons that many people supported self-government was to protect Wales against the Tories. Murphy has removed that protection. He has done very well for himself from his membership of the House of Lords. He has made his constituents a sitting target for the next outbreak of Tory fanaticism.
